BCS is currently seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts.
The MBSE engineer plays a key role by contributing to the development of analysis products that support SoS and System level engineering decisions, interoperability assessments, formal and informal engineering reviews and technology readiness assessments and the associated component designs.

Provide support to using Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques to define systems interfaces, requirements and behaviors. Support system design, requirements development and functional allocation to hardware, software, operator and other segments and other system components. Support development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing, perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.

Experience Requirements:
•	Academic or work experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools and procedures Experience with, and understanding of, object-oriented design. 
•	Understanding system interface requirements and requirements management Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts. 
•	Experience with LML, SysML, UPDM, and DoDAF modeling is a plus Familiar with MBSE/SysML/LML/UPDM/DoDAF modeling tools Familiar with systems engineering lifecycle.
•	Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•	Proficiency with Microsoft products including Office and SharePoint.

Education Requirements:
A completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (EE, ME, AE, SE, CE, CISE), or related technical field.

Duties:
Participating in system requirements reviews and creating and/or updating requirement specifications and technical documentation. Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate.
Participate in the development of trade studies to support the selection preferred design solutions and course of action alternatives in project development/product delivery. 
Providing review and analysis support to the test team development and conduct of formal testing. Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation

BCS is currently seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts.
The MBSE engineer plays a key role by contributing to the development of analysis products that support SoS and System level engineering decisions, interoperability assessments, formal and informal engineering reviews and technology readiness assessments and the associated component designs. 
 
Required Skills/Experience:
•	7+ years of developing system concept, architecture, functional/behavioral and performance models within an MBSE environment Familiarity with the use of Matlab/Simulink.
•	10+ years of modeling and simulation experience for complex DoD or Aerospace applications.
•	High level of comfort working in an environment that includes advancing the state-of-the-art in Systems Engineering (SE) processes.
•	Capability to use the Microsoft Office package to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 
•	Must be a U.S. Citizen
 
Education Requirements:
A completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (EE, ME, AE, SE, CE, CISE) or related technical field with a minimum of 15 years of engineering experience; OR  a completed Master's Degree with a minimum of 12 years engineering experience; OR a completed PhD in Engineering field with a minimum of 9 years engineering experience.
 
Desired Skills:
•	Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) with System-of-Systems (SoS) performance optimization 
•	Experience with MBSE commercial tools such as IBM Rational Rhapsody Architect for Software/Systems Engineers, Sparx System Enterprise Architect, Magic Draw or other SysML/UML based tools Experience translating UML/SysML data artifacts to physics-based simulation frameworks.
